Rebecca first moved to San Francisco in 1995 from Washington D.C. to pursue graphic design and advertising. Five years later her desire for creative expression led her to explore an alternate career path and she began to further develop the metalsmithing skills she had acquired while studying at Savannah College of Art & Design. Her first collection of colorful enamel jewelry — made entirely in her garage — gained esteem at local shows and boutiques propelling her work into a more refined esthetic. Over the years Rebecca Overmann jewelry has evolved, featuring one-of-a-kind and handmade pieces in her San Francisco studio.
Today, the focus of The Studio remains the same – creative expression fueled by equal parts passion and skill. The goal of Rebecca Overmann jewelry is to create incredibly special pieces for our customers who value thoughtful design and fine craftsmanship. Each piece of jewelry is fashioned from design to completion in our San Francisco studio. This is how it is possible for us to maintain the level of quality and control that we hold ourselves to. Everything we make is produced with the notion that it will be cherished by generations to come.
